Update on Work Situation
Well, readers, I have news concerning my shift change at work. According to the front office, all shift changes have been postponed indefinitely.
I am not exactly a happy camper about that, but as people keep reminding me, I need to be thankful that I even have a job. They are, of course, right. Sometimes, I just tend to throw myself little pity parties. Ever do that? That thought leads me to thinking about how I view life in general. Do I view it as a glass that is half-full or half-empty? As a Christian, I should be viewing my life as definitely (at least!) half-full, however, I tend to be on the pessimistic side. When things are going my way, I tend to think, "This seems too good to be true." Instead, I should be enjoying what is going on in my life and thanking God for the opportunities He has given me. When things are "in the pits", I tend to take them deeper; I wallow in my "misery". This is definitely not a healthy attitude to have. How do you handle the curveballs and the lobs that Life throws at you?

I know that you are disappointed. Praying that you lean on God to get you through this difficult time!
@jenssimplepleasures - Thanks, Jen! I guess I am really more bitter about this than I originally thought. I was so looking forward to getting off this "crazy" shift. But, alas, who knows when that will happen? I chose to be on this shift because my husband was, but now I don't know how much more my body can take with the sleep issues (sometimes not enough
). Also, thanks for reading! I have gotten out of the habit of blogging, and I wondered if anyone even read my little musings anymore!
